Formerly known as ‘The Brothers Of Other Mothers’, hail from Port Elizabeth, the windy, friendly city, where they skank up a little storm with their band of reggae, funk and rock, infused with heady doses of improvisation – a unique genre known as Skafrican.
The group are like a good curry, made up of various flavours and textures. At times rough and soulful and at other times slick and progressive. Dynamics are explored to take the listeners on a voyage through contrasting approaches; all done with love and commitment.
