With a career spanning decades, Mano has earned his place among South Africa’s most respected musicians, sharing stages with legends such as George Benson, Hugh Masekela, Jimmy Dludlu, Selaelo Selota, Freshlyground, MXO, Vusi Nova, Judith Sephuma, Don Laka, Ernie Smith, and the late Johnny Clegg and Oliver Mtukudzi. His signature guitar style is an expressive fusion of jazz, soul, funk, and African rhythms, crafted into a unique voice that speaks directly to the heart.

Though his musical journey has touched every genre imaginable, Mano’s heart remains deeply rooted in jazz. His performances are a captivating blend of technical mastery, emotive phrasing, and a musical vocabulary shaped by years of experience. Over the years, Mano has graced the stages of major festivals including the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Cape Town International Jazz Festival, North Sea Jazz Festival, Grahamstown Arts Festival, Ebubeleni Festival, Hankey Yellowwood Jazz Festival, MossJazz, and more. Whether performing solo or collaborating with a full band, he never fails to ignite a crowd and leave audiences wanting more.

Currently, Mano continues to bring his passion for live performance to venues such as the South End Museum, Bridge Street Breweries, Cubana, Marine Hotel (Tsogo Sun), The Yacht Club, and Argos. He also provides live entertainment for private functions, weddings, baptisms, birthdays, graduations, and fundraising events, and works as a session guitarist with various local artists and bands.
