Training and Achievements

Holding a Grade 7 in Music, Singing, and Performing Arts from Trinity College London, and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of Pretoria, Tarryn combines natural talent with rigorous training. She is a prominent figure in Port Elizabeth’s theatre community, serving on the committee of The Gilbert and Sullivan Society, while also directing, producing, and performing in cabarets across the Eastern Cape. Her themed productions, including A Valentine’s Cabaret, Christmas Cabaret, All That Jazz, and A Night at the Theatre, showcase her ability to adapt to diverse audiences and occasions.

Tribute Shows and Versatility

One of Tarryn’s greatest strengths is her flair for tribute performances, where she brings to life beloved music and iconic stars with authenticity and sparkle. Her repertoire includes dazzling renditions of ABBA, Smells Like the 90s, Dolly Parton and Miley Cyrus, and Divas Show, along with vibrant celebrations like Simply the Best of the 80s and Big Blonde and Beautiful, which highlights stars such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Marilyn Monroe, and Sabrina. She also shines in themed productions like Moulin Rouge, Burlesque, Postmodern Jukebox, Chicago, and the cult classic Rocky Horror Show. This wide-ranging versatility allows Tarryn to craft experiences that resonate with every audience and event.
