From Cover Bands to Solo Artist
Greg’s musical journey began as the lead guitarist for a three-piece cover band named “Tease.” He later joined the resident band at de Taphuijs, known as “The Belmont Valley Raiders”. Over the years, he has collaborated with several top South African musicians, playing in various cover bands and building a vast repertoire that includes classics from The Beatles, Rolling Stones, CCR, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and more.
A Well-Known Musician in the Eastern Cape
Renowned in the Eastern Cape as an accomplished blues, rock, and folk guitarist, Greg has graced many well-known cover bands in Grahamstown from 1999 to 2010. Relocating to Port Elizabeth in 2010, he continued to perform as a solo artist and in various bands until 2023. Currently residing in the lower Albany district, Greg’s versatility shines through in his ability to adapt to different musical styles and cater to diverse audiences.
