Emile Naidu has been a part of the PE music scene since 2011, after agreeing to play a 30-minute slot at a Toni’s Place Folk club with a few friends, which would later form the first band he would be a part of. The Meditators Reggae Band was founded in 1990, by Sandile aka Shante Bekwa and currently has 6 full time members. The band is roots based and all the members are currently based in Durban. Their highlight performance was being the curtain-raiser for the UB40 tour in 2018 in Durban and Pretoria to Sold Out shows.
